Pinning Documents

Pinned Documents are documents whose evidence stays the same across subsequent monitoring periods. Use pinned documents when you plan to reuse the same evidence in future periods to save time and maintain consistency.

Pinned documents allow evidence from one monitoring period to be automatically applied to future periods within a facility. This ensures recurring data doesn’t need to be re-uploaded each time, while still allowing flexibility to update or replace evidence if needed.

How To

  1. Click the pin icon on the right side of the document to pin it.

  2. The evidence will automatically apply to any future instances of this document within the facility.

  3. Pinning does not affect existing instances of the document, but you can manually apply pinned evidence to those if needed.

  4. To unpin a document or replace its pinned evidence, click the pin icon again. Existing document instances remain unaffected.

Best Practices

  • Pin documents for recurring, unchanged evidence to reduce repetitive uploads.

  • Review pinned evidence periodically to ensure it is still accurate.

  • Combine pinned documents with recurring evidence requests for fully automated data collection.
